Afrisian Ginning Ltd., wanted to create a unified brand system that could scale across multiple product lines, starting with Palm Oil and later expanding into Soya Oil. The challenge was to build a flexible identity that was both modern and clearly recognizable at different product sizes and across product lines from 1L bottles to 20L bulk containers.

We developed the complete brand identity, including a logo system, colour palette and typography, all crafted to resonate with Tanzanian consumers. Our goal was to create an approachable, modern brand that stood proudly on the shelf while remaining true to its local roots.

Our Approach

The project kicked off with an exploration of logo concepts that reflected everyday Tanzanian life. After refining multiple concepts, we delivered a final logo design along with a complete visual identity guide, ensuring consistency across all applications.

Next, we designed packaging for both Palm Oil and Soya Oil, using bold, legible labels optimized for shelf impact. The design incorporated colour differentiation between product lines, ensuring that each product was distinct yet part of the same Mama Amina family. Our designs were fully production ready, with all specs provided to ensure smooth manufacturing.

The Result

For Mama Amina, we didn’t just design a logo or a label we created an entire, scalable brand system. The identity now speaks directly to Tanzanian households and vendors, offering an approachable yet polished image. The result is a brand that stands out on shelves, connects with the community and provides Afrisian Ginning Ltd., with a strong foundation for future product line expansions.
